IND vs BAN: Mehdi Hasan’s first century in 5 years, India got tough target in Mirpur

New Delhi. Mehdi Hasan is trying to prove himself as an all-rounder. He brought Bangladesh out of trouble against Team India by scoring a century in the second ODI (IND vs BAN). This is his first century of his 5-year ODI career. At one time the team was struggling losing 6 wickets for 69 runs. In such a situation, it was also difficult for the team to reach 100 runs. But Mehdi shared a century partnership with Mahmudullah to take the team past 200 runs. Bangladesh has scored 271 runs for 7 wickets while playing first. Bangladesh captain Liton Das decided to bat after winning the toss in the match. Mohammad Siraj gave a good start to the Indian team. Mahmudullah became the second victim of Umran Malika after scoring 77 off 96 balls. He hit 7 fours. Mehdi completed the century on the last ball. He remained unbeaten after scoring 100 runs off 83 balls. Hit 8 fours and 4 sixes.

Sundar took 3 wickets for 37 runs in 10 overs. Mohammad Siraj and Umran Malik also got 2-2 wickets. But Siraj proved to be expensive. He gave 73 runs in 10 overs. Earlier in 2015 also Bangladesh team has won the series 2-1 against India.
