Rohit Sharma suffered a hand injury while taking a catch while fielding in the slips against Bangladesh. Mohammad Siraj came to do the second over of the innings and Anamul Haque played a shot on the fourth ball which went straight to Rohit in the slip. He could not position it properly and the ball hit his hand, causing blood to ooze between his fingers. Feeling uncomfortable, he immediately left the field. After the injury, Rohit was taken to the hospital for a scan.
