4 years of ‘Kedarnath’: Abhishek Kapoor remembers ‘Mansoor’, read what the director said about Sushant Singh Rajput?

New Delhi. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan’s film ‘Kedarnath’ has completed four years of its release on Wednesday. The film was released in theaters in the year 2018 and the film rocked the box office. Let me tell you, it was through this film that Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut.

On this occasion, Abhishek Kapoor, director of the film ‘Kedarnath’, recalled his journey and described the main character of Mansoor as one of Sushant’s finest performances. The film brought Sara Ali Khan to stardom with songs like ‘Namo Namo’, ‘Kafirana’ and ‘Jaan Nisar’.

Sharing his memories about the film, filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor said, ‘The film was an adventure from start to finish. We knew we were fighting an uphill battle, but even now thinking about it, the grit, passion and power that went into making it sends a shiver down our spine.’

he further Sushant Singh Rajput Expressed his gratitude for teaming up with Sushant, ‘I am extremely grateful that we made it and I got a chance to work with Sushant again. I really believe that Mansoor’s role was one of Sushant’s best works. Significantly, Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2020, during the pandemic.
