After the match, Rahul Dravid said, “From our point of view, it has not been so easy to play. We didn’t have the full team. We hope that from January we will get the full team to play in the home series, but it will depend on the injuries. We have nine ODIs (three against New Zealand, three against Sri Lanka and three against Australia) before the IPL and hope that we will get a stable team for these matches. Dravid believes that from January, there is every possibility that India will have a ‘full strength’ ODI team, which will play continuously for the next eight-nine months till the ODI World Cup to be held in October-November.

He further said, “In the last two years, we were giving a lot of priority to T20, because there were two World Cups to play. In the next 8-10 months, our priority will be ODI cricket. Adapting to formats is not that easy. Our white-ball specialists will get some rest as Test matches will be played.
