

Guidelines for teachers coming up with new curriculum: Minister of Education
Education Minister Dipu Moni has said that guidelines are being prepared for teachers along with training for full implementation of the new curriculum step by step.
He was responding to a question from reporters after a function at the auditorium of the Institute of Diploma Engineers in Kakrail on Saturday.
The Minister of Education said, “Piloting is being started in 100 primary and 100 secondary institutions from 2022 to implement the new curriculum. For this, training activities of teachers are going on and teacher’s guide is also being prepared. ”
Outlining the new curriculum, the education minister told reporters on September 13 that it would be implemented step by step from 2023. Students will study in a completely new curriculum from 2025.
There is talk of not taking exams up to third class, not taking any public exams before SSC, removing the division of science, humanities and commerce departments in ninth-tenth class.
In addition, learning outcome assessments will be conducted throughout the academic year before the overall assessment at the end of the year to reduce the pressure of examinations.
The Education Minister said, “From 2023, we will take this (new curriculum) across the country. One year will take two classes. First Class Six-Seven, then Eight-Nine, and then Ten.
Thus, the entire curriculum will be implemented by 2025. We are preparing. ”
The Minister of Education was the chief guest at the reception given by the Quantum Foundation to 50 blood donors who have donated blood 50 or more times on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Independence.
A female blood donor was also present at the reception organized by the voluntary organization for the memory of the martyrs of the liberation war of 1971.
Dipu Moni said on the occasion, “There was a social barrier including mental, physical fear and panic about blood donation; By eliminating that, voluntary blood donors are playing a leading role in meeting the blood demand of the country.
